Essepieffe Italia’s Design and Engineering department has extensive experience, offering a complete service that accompanies the customer from the initial idea to serial production. The primary objective is to ensure functionality, aesthetics and production efficiency, while guaranteeing full compliance with the technical and budget requirements. Our activities range from detailed design and optimisation of materials and functionalities to the development of prototypes and the preparation of all the technical documentation necessary for industrialisation.

Our skills
The beating heart of Essepieffe Italia is the in-house design department, where specialised CAD designers use 2D and 3D software (such as SOLIDWORKS) to create models. This strategic decision to internalise the service, entrusting it to expert Technical Designers, allows the company to follow the entire life cycle of the product, from engineering and industrialisation to turnkey production.
The technical department has been further enhanced with state-of-the-art equipment dedicated to Reverse Engineering.
The technologies used include:
- A 5-axis CNC MACHINING CENTRE for the internal production of Ureol models.
- A 3D Scanner for the extremely high-precision surveying of the surfaces of moulds and semi-finished products.
- Specialised software (PEEL CAD and VX Inspect 11) for the analysis, inspection and comparison of mathematical models.
Thanks to these tools, we can acquire the 3D geometry of any object, even without a 3D mathematical file, and guarantee modifications and readjustments of moulds with impeccable results, drastically reducing time and costs in the development of innovative products.
