Strengthened by a core business in the moulding of various types of polyurethane, carried out since 1997, Essepieffe Italia has since grown to become a supplier of high-quality semi-finished products for leading brands in highly specialised sectors such as Automotive, Railway, Maritime, and Furniture and Design.
For the most highly regulated sectors, such as Railway and Maritime, Essepieffe Italia provides consolidated in-house know-how to supply components that meet the most stringent requirements. Our semi-finished products are specifically designed to ensure high long-term durability and excellent resistance to wear, tear and abrasion. In these fields, where safety is a priority, we’re able to process polyurethane foams with specific flame-retardant properties. The application of structural polyurethanes also guarantees excellent dimensional stability and mechanical strength, essential elements for structural integrity, insulation and shock absorption in demanding operating environments.
In the Transportation sector and in the Furnishings and Interior Design sector (which includes upholstery, seating, sofas and accessories), our production capacity focuses on achieving the optimal balance between design, comfort and robustness. We actively collaborate with architects and designers to offer technical solutions that transform their ideas into tangible products. The versatility of polyurethane allows us to create large objects with complex shapes and variable thicknesses. We can guarantee homogeneous and compact mouldings, free from shrinkage and deformation, while enabling the application of an extensive variety of surface finishes.
Essepieffe Italia’s reliability is supported by a solid structure operating across an area of over 14,000 m², with a team of more than 110 employees. The company has made targeted investments in research, technology and training in order to equip itself with state-of-the-art machinery and instrumentation.
