The Upholstery department represents the creative heart of Essepieffe Italia, where artisan tradition blends seamlessly with technological innovation. Here, passion and precision transform the ideas of designers and companies into high-quality upholstered products. The goal is to offer a comprehensive 360° service, covering every phase from design to production and through to after-sales assistance.
At our high-end upholstery workshop, we support the customer throughout every stage of the process.
The work begins by translating the concept into design and developing a custom prototype, accompanied by the selection of materials and the most suitable technical solutions. We create the prototype with meticulous attention to every constructive and stylistic detail. We subsequently manage the production, logistics and after-sales services, guaranteeing punctual delivery and consistent quality, while providing continuous assistance for quick and effective solutions. Thanks to the support of our co-design office, we are able to understand and enhance the identity of each idea, assisting designers and architects with technical development and the resolution of construction challenges.
We actively collaborate with designers and furniture companies to transform ideas into tangible products. Our prototyping focuses on the development of padding and coverings, creating the necessary templates for industrial production, starting as early as the mathematical design phase of the object to be manufactured. We provide a functional prototype faithful to the original concept, with meticulous attention to detail and optimised for easy industrialisation.
Once the prototype has been completed, we manage serial production without scale limitations, ensuring the utmost care for every individual piece. We control every stage, from the selection of the suppliers to the automatic cutting of the leather and fabrics, which guarantees precision and optimisation in terms of both time and material consumption. Our production stands out for its high-quality Italian craftsmanship and constant pursuit of perfection, making each final product unique and recognisable.
The co-design office works in close synergy with the upholstery workshop to resolve construction issues from the earliest stages. Through direct collaboration with the customer, we optimise costs, time and materials, ensuring a design that perfectly balances aesthetics and functionality, for a finished product of exceptional quality.
